"I wanted to write and compliment
Ms. Donna Mohn on the excellent work
she did for us recently. As
background, my wife owns a house in
Norton that my mother-in-law lives
in. Unfortunately, we live in the
Washington DC area so it is often
hard for us to arrange matters
related to this property. Not being
very familiar with the
tenant-occupied insurance process we
had insured the house with another
agency through VPIA. When I finally
discovered that the policy was
written incorrectly, VPIA cancelled
the policy and recommended I call
South-West Insurance. I’m very glad
I did. Right from the start Ms.
Mohn answered all of our questions
and was extremely patient during
many phone calls and follow-ups.
Being 400 miles away has always made
these types of transactions
complicated but Ms. Mohn’s
professionalism and excellent
customer service made it almost
easy. I will not hesitate to

"South-West has spent much time and energy fighting for
me in a case where I was billed an incorrect amount, not given credit for my
payments, and then turned over to collections without warning and even
threatened via the phone by the collection agent. And I had only
called South-West to verify that my co-pay was correct on the EOB and that
they were a contracted provider with Cariten and could not balance bill
me. But instead, the Customer Service Representative took over and dealt
with the provider and got the balance corrected, dealt with the threats and
problems with the collection agency. I consider that above and beyond the
CSR's job, though I do not know what is in their job duties for us. I was
more than willing to fight my case myself, but I am sure that it carried a lot
more weight coming from South-West. I feel their efforts should not go
unnoticed and wanted to make you all aware of them."
